2007 Purebred Connemara Filly - Dawn's Molly (Sire: Kerrymor Madison; Dam: Serendipity's Savannah)
Molly is a dark bay with a irregular blaze. She will likely finish at 15.1 hands or more and is destined to be a fabulous partner for dressage or eventing. She is of the sport-pony type of Connemara. She is handled on a regular basis and is current on her vaccinations, deworming and hoof care. We plan to have her spend time this summer with our natural horsemanship trainer for ground schooling. Molly comes from lots of athletic talent. Her sire is the amazing and talented Kerrymor Madison and her dam is the versatile and sweet dun (buckskin) mare, Serendipity's Savannah [Oak Hills Country Song X Oak Hills Maggie]. Savannah is ICCPS inspected and approved and has had three other incredible foals by Madison. 1) Dawn's Woodland Robin, a bay gelding born in 1998, who has been excelling out on the west coast in the hunter/jumper ring, dressage arena and as a pleasure horse. 2) Dawn's Daniel Madison, a lovely, light dun gelding born in 2000, who is making his mark as a hunter/jumper and pleasure horse in the midwest and 3) Dawn's Alannah Madison, a beautiful purebred buckskin filly who will pursue a life of eventing and foxhunting with her new owner. Both parents, Madison and Savannah, are excellent riding partners with fun, uncomplicated personalities and a lovely way of going. It's a great match! $4500 vickiemaris@gmail.com Ad content most recent update: Feb. 19, 2010
SOLD - 2006 Purebred Connemara Filly - Dawn's Alannah Madison (Sire: Kerrymor Madison; Dam: Serendipity's Savannah)
SOLD - Alannah is a dark, dappled dun (buckskin) filly with a gorgeous blaze. She is 14. 2 hands at age 3 and will likely finish around 14.3 or 15 hands. This filly is really lovely. She has more substance of bone than her younger sister and has more of a Connemara look to her than Molly, but she still will have height that will make her a great partner for a small adult rider. Alannah is destined to be a fabulous partner for any discipline. We even discovered last summer that she is great at sorting out cattle all on her own! She learned this when she was with the natural horsemanship trainer and was allowed to run free in the arena a few times when the heifers were out. Alannah has had a super start to her ground schooling while with Nadia Heffner and will be going back for under saddle training this summer. She too is current on her vaccinations, deworming, etc. vickiemaris@gmail.com
SOLD - 2003 Purebred Connemara Mare - Old Carolina's Bitsy - ICCPS Inspected and Approved mare. A great prospect for Pony Club, combined driving, dressage or the hunter ring. Bitsy is sired by the imported stallion *Gun Smoke and is out of Oakfields Garnet Finch (*Grange Finch X *Templebready Ruby). This mare is a gorgeous, gorgeous pony and very true to Connemara type. She has been well handled since birth and started correctly. She spent a semester in training in the western program at Findlay University in the spring of 2006. She is a proven broodmare and has produced a stallion-quality colt, Dawn's Jeremiah McLane, by the imported stallion, *The Quietman. We gelded Jeremiah since we wanted to help insure a simpler life for him as a gelding. Bitsy is pony size, around 13.3 hands and red bay with a lovely, curly, thick mane, tail and forelock. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the best! We are cutting back on our herd size and focusing more on animal-assisted therapy and campaigning our performance gelding, so we have decided we would let this mare go to a home where her athletic talent and/or qualities as a broodmare would be better utilized. You can find video of Bitsy on our site (channel - dpfponies) at YouTube. vickiemaris@gmail.com
