2000 bay Connemara mare (Kerrymor Madison X Serendipity's Jenny), 15+ hands, movie-star looks, inspected and approved ICCPS breeding stock. Amber has spent a month with natural horsemanship trainer, Sherry Beuttner, for ground schooling. She has now returned from the University of Findlay where she was in the western program for the Spring Semester 2006. Her student trainer, Ashley, did a great job with Amber helping her to learn to go quietly in a busy arena and she added a "lope" to her resume. I'm now riding her again in dressage and starting her over fences. Amber is very balanced, correct and has received comments such as, "she's got the best conformation and movement of all the ponies inspected today." She loves to be chosen from the pasture for work and is eager to please. I've shown Amber in hand at several shows and in 2005 she earned her Certificate of Achievement In Hand with the American Connemara Pony Society. She won first and third at ACPS Region 5 shows in 2002 and 2004. In 2005, she placed fourth in a large in hand class, then placed first with her half-sister in the Progeny Group at the Reg. 5 Show. She also placed fourth in the ridden obedience class, has placed in the large, in-hand trail class in Virginia at the Region 3 show in 2003. And a few photos of Amber at home during the McGill's visit to Dawn of Promise . . . (these are still images captured from video)
Above two images show Amber with Vickie on board (left) and Megan on board (right). And below you see Amber and Megan, and Vickie with Bitsy.
